Many people notice relief in just a few sessions — without needing to talk through every detail of what they’ve been through.

— What ART Makes Possible

Who It’s For

If you’ve been
carrying something heavy.

ART is Trisha’s signature modality. It’s especially powerful for people who’ve tried talk therapy without lasting relief — or who don’t want to verbally relive what happened.

  • You’ve carried a difficult memory for years.

  • Talk therapy hasn’t moved the needle on your trauma.

  • You don’t want to retell every detail of what happened.

  • You’re stuck in flashbacks, nightmares, or triggers.

  • You’ve heard about EMDR and want something similar but faster.

What to Expect

A different kind of healing process.

01

No retelling required

ART uses guided eye movements and visualization — not detailed verbal processing. You don’t have to put words to what happened.

02

Relief in 1–5 sessions for many

ART often creates meaningful relief faster than traditional trauma therapy. Many clients describe feeling lighter after just one session.

03

The memory stays — the charge changes

You’ll still remember what happened. It just won’t carry the same overwhelming weight when you do.

Working With Trisha

Trisha’s signature modality.

In her own words: “I specialize in trauma therapy with a modality called ART that I use often with clients who want to heal in a more profound way than just talk therapy.”

ART works by helping the brain reprocess upsetting experiences while you’re awake and in control. It’s been studied for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, and more — and it’s one of the few evidence-based approaches that delivers real change in a small number of sessions.

Common Questions

Things people ask about ART.

Don’t see your question? Send us a message or call 801-550-9099.

  • What is ART exactly?
Accelerated Resolution Therapy is an evidence-based approach that uses guided eye movements and visualization techniques to help your brain reprocess distressing memories or experiences. It’s similar in concept to EMDR but with a more structured protocol that often works faster.
  • How is ART different from EMDR?
Both use bilateral eye movements to help reprocess difficult experiences. ART has a more directive, protocolized structure that many clients find leads to faster relief — often in 1–5 sessions instead of 8–12.
  • Is ART backed by research?
Yes. ART has been studied for PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and more. It’s recognized as an evidence-based practice by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
  • How many sessions will I need?
Many clients see meaningful relief within 1–5 sessions for a specific issue. Trisha will give you a better sense of what to expect after your first session together.
  • What kinds of issues does ART work for?
Trauma and PTSD are the most common, but ART is also used for anxiety, depression, grief, phobias, performance anxiety, and difficult memories that keep replaying.
